Digitalization helps smallholder farmers and micro/home-based entrepreneurs by providing access to vital information, markets, and financial services, which boosts productivity, increases profitability, and helps mitigate risks. Tools like mobile apps, digital marketplaces, and satellite imagery allow farmers to get expert advice, sell crops directly, and make data-driven decisions about planting and resource management.

This pillar focuses on building digital literacy of farmers through workshops and other means so that they can improve their product offerings, increase productivity and expand their markets. The pillar will also actively seek partnerships that can bring user friendly digital services to beneficiaries to provide.
